4) Is there a HD-DVD ready Xbox version out there, or do I always have to purchase the separate HD-DVD adapter separatly?
VERSUS:
5) Which of the 2 media centers supports the most various formats? the PS3 or XBOX360?
6) Which console offers the most active online gaming community for shooters and such, PS3 or XBOX 360?

Nintendo was the first major gaming console
Then Sega and Super Nintendo were exceptionally prettier and had new gameplay possibilities
The N64 introduced the new controller and multiplayer shooters, Golden Eye, also it could hold up to 4 players.
Sony took a swing at the systems and brought a new face with their unique controller with flight sim games, and games with cinematic story lines.
Dreamcast flopped
PS2 and XBOX came out, and it was prettier and had online play ability and could play DVD’s.
Now the Wii is out and nothing has really been done with the controller besides Wii sports, the XBOX 360 is just a prettier more likely to break version of XBOX, and the PS3 is very pretty but has yet to be anything more than that.
Does anyone else feel a little let down? and dont get me started on the prices.

mpn_1990 asked: I’m a very happy Wii owner, but am a little disappointed that there’s not many shooters. I’ve decided to get myself a game system for more shooter-oriented games, and I need your help.
PS3 has a very enticing feature set, solid reliability, and a right price now that it’s going to retail at $400, however I’m concerned that it’s going the way of the Sega Saturn and won’t be supported in the next year or so.
Xbox 360 looks like it has a solid foundation, however I’m a little ticked that you need to buy seperate periperals for Wi-Fi and HD-DVD. I’m also concerned about the infamous “Red Ring of Death”.
I don’t want to spend all that money for both; don’t suggest it.
